Departments are responsible for assigning the new dispositions on all job openings created after May 20, 2011.   There is an online tutorial and training guide, titled Changing Applicant Dispositions, which outlines this process at:  http://omni.training.fsu.edu/OMNI-Human-Resources/Recruiting-Activities .  This training material will help you become familiar with the different disposition codes.  In conjunction with the UPK online training material, a matrix of the disposition codes that describes the new dispositions and when to use them can be found at http://www.hr.fsu.edu/PDF/publications/employment/Applicant%20Disposition%20Matrix.pdf.

Waivers of advertising for faculty positions are requested through a memorandum of justification send to the Dean of the Faculties for approval by the Provost.
