Florida State University faculty members who are tenured or in tenure earning positions may submit proposals for small grants in support of projects to include exploratory examination of ideas for research, for the improvement of instruction, for innovations in all areas of learning, for exploration of new procedures in University operations and management and for the support of ongoing academic programs. The Foundation Grants Advisory Committee, made up of nine faculty members, reviews proposals and makes recommendations for grants to the President.
