6.3 Office of International Programs

The Assistant to the President for International Programs; administers and coordinates the Florida State University's international activities. The major study abroad programs, the Florence Program and the London Program, report directly to him, as do the Panama Canal Branch, the Center for Yugoslav-American Studies, the Florida-Costa Rica Linkage Institute (FLORICA) and the Florida/France Linkage Institute. He also coordinates Florida State's summer programs: the archaeology program at Cetamura, the Hospitality Administration European Study Program (Switzerland), the French Program in Paris, the two law programs in Barbados and Oxford;, the theatre program in Moscow, and the business program in Tilburg, the Netherlands, among others.

The Assistant to the President also helps to coordinate international activities on campus with: CIES, (The Center for Intensive English Studies), International and Intercultural Development Education, International Student Services and Programs, Language Study, the Learning Systems Institute, and the degree program in Multilingual/Multicultural Education degree;.
