All University employees, both permanent and temporary, including graduate assistants, student assistants, and OPS employees are covered by Worker's Compensation insurance provided by the University. The Department of Environmental Health and Safety administers this program, which provides for medical care as well as compensation for disability resulting from on-the-job injuries. Compensation is dependent upon the nature of the injury. On-duty accidents are to be reported to supervisor immediately.
