By action of the Faculty Senate, November 4, 1973, the administration of the SIRS instrument is mandatory in the fall term. On a voluntary basis, faculty members may use the instrument in other terms. The 1973 rule does provide that administration of the SIRS instrument in classes consisting of ten or fewer students shall not be mandatory.
